Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Architect to join its Architectural Studio in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This contract-to-hire role reports to the Architectural Department Manager and requires leading project architecture tasks while coordinating with multiple trades.

The position emphasizes cost analysis, detailed design development, and thorough contract document preparation. A licensed architect with Revit proficiency and strong PM skills is ideal.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in architecture, ideally moving into project management.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Ability to compile drawing sets through all phases of project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Analyze costs and determine required drawings for each phase during feasibility study.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and manage project timeline during schematic design.
• Conduct design/development with client reviews and code reviews and refine options with cost estimates.
• Prepare contract documents and coordinate with structural, civil, mechanical, and other trades.
• Develop fee and prepare submittals for statutory review.
• Administer bid/contract phase by reviewing bids, invoices, punch lists, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate and direct day-to-day activities for construction and construction support.
• Provide daily progress and resource reports.
