Gale Associates, Inc. in Glastonbury, CT seeks a Registered Architect or Engineer to join our office as a Project Architect/Engineer. You will work on restoration, renovation and adaptive reuse of existing structures, with emphasis on building enclosures such as roofs and facades.

Prior exterior historic restoration experience is favorable and professional licensure is required or in progress. The role offers a path for advancement within a well-respected national engineering/planning firm that

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in building enclosure evaluations, design and construction administrative services.
• P.E. or RA Registration is required; licensing pursuit encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Serve as Project Architect/Engineer on repairs, renovations and adaptive reuse of existing structures.
• Evaluate and design building enclosures (roofs, facades, fenestrations).
• Experience with exterior historic restoration of commercial structures and building enclosures is favorable.
