Job summary

An esteemed architecture and design studio in Washington DC is seeking a Project Architect to lead design development and coordinate with clients and consultants.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master or Bachelor of Architecture, be registered or on track to licensure, and have 5–10+ years of experience across a broad range of projects, with strong Revit drafting and knowledge of building codes.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of wide-ranging project experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs project effectively and collaborates with team to resolve problems quickly.
• Develops and coordinates project documents through all phases from design to construction documents.

• Monitors project progress across disciplines during design development.

Responsibilities

• Designs project effectively and works with team members to resolve problems quickly
• Development and coordination of project documents through all phases of a project, from design through construction documents
• Lead and provide guidance to architectural staff throughout projects
• Coordinates design activity between the client, departments, and consultants.
• Monitors project progress for all disciplines as to development of design of the project

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor of Architecture
• Registered Architect or the ability to become licensed
• 5-10+ years' of experience working on wide range of projects.
• Adept at design modeling, and drafting with Revit
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of building codes, design, and construction
• Previous experience working on a wide range of projects is ideal
