52X Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join the Aviation team. Based in Texas, you will lead design efforts on large-scale, complex projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and guiding junior staff.

You will manage documentation, maintain schedules, and present technical solutions to clients and stakeholders while ensuring adherence to codes, standards and best practices.

Formación

• Professional degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial architecture, aviation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading large teams on complex, large-scale projects.

Responsabilidades

• Develop innovative architectural design solutions that align with project goals, functional requirements, and technical constraints.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate project documentation and deliverables throughout all phases of design and construction.
• Oversee contract administration activities and support project execution.
• Coordinate architectural work with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting overall client satisfaction.
• Lead project teams across multiple concurrent projects, balancing design excellence, technical quality, and project requirements.
• Assist with developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules and deliverables.
• Develop and present technical solutions and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Identify team strengths, encourage collaboration, and support the professional development of colleagues.
• Proactively resolve conflicts between design intent, technical requirements, and project objectives in coordination with project leadership.
• Coordinate and integrate architectural documents with consultant drawings and specifications.
• Pursue innovative design strategies that improve project performance, functionality, and overall quality.
• Apply current industry standards, construction practices, building codes, and technical requirements.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, materials, methodologies, codes, and best practices.
• Prepare for and lead project meetings, client presentations, and design reviews.

Qualifications

• This position is based in an office environment.
• Professional degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program or an equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial architecture, with aviation experience strongly preferred. Experience leading large teams on complex, large-scale projects is also highly valued.
• Transportation or other large-scale public-sector project experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Revit and a strong command of architectural design and technical documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction documentation and drawing coordination.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, material assemblies, and constructability.
• Familiarity with applicable building codes, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Interest in sustainable design principles and high-performance building strategies.
• Professional architectural registration.
• Strong organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Adaptability and a flexible, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
