Base Pay Range
$93,500.00/yr – $126,500.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and develop design concepts with the project team to meet project goals, budgets, and code requirements.
- Ensure design solutions are implemented holistically through documentation, balancing aesthetic intent with technical accuracy and constructability.
- Lead or support projects through multiple phases, applying design and technical expertise with accountability for quality, coordination, and timely delivery.
- Utilize Revit and related BIM tools to develop detailed, coordinated, and code‑compliant models, drawings, and construction documents at a Model Manager skill level.
- Conduct zoning and code research, applying findings to design strategies and documentation.
- Coordinate and oversee the development of project manuals and technical specifications, ensuring consistency and accuracy across project phases.
- Drive or support the permitting process, prepare documentation, respond to plan check comments, and interface with regulatory agencies.
- Ensure technical accuracy of drawings and documents through reviews, redlines, and quality checks to meet code and constructability requirements.
- Provide construction administration services across a range of project types and sizes.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget in coordination with project managers.
- Contribute to proposals, presentations, and interview materials for business development opportunities.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and feedback to support the growth and performance of junior staff.
- Collaborate across disciplines and with clients to ensure alignment and excellence in project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and related BIM tools, with the ability to coordinate multi‑discipline inputs and maintain model integrity.
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
- Proven ability to lead or support projects through all phases—from Programming through Construction Administration.
- Experience in reviewing and redlining drawing sets, resolving technical issues, and ensuring design intent and constructability.
- Excellent problem‑solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Architectural licensure preferred but not required.

- This is a full‑time position based in our Tacoma office. Some regional travel is necessary.
