Job summary

BWS Architects in Phoenix seeks a Project Architect to drive projects from design through construction. You will oversee the Revit model, coordinate construction documents, and liaise between design architects and engineers to ensure accurate, fully coordinated drawings and specs.

You will work with the Project Manager to understand budget and schedule and make technical decisions that support project goals, demonstrating leadership and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with 7+ years of architectural experience that includes education, healthcare, or public works project experience.
• Bachelor’s in architecture
• Registered Architect in the state of AZ or ability to obtain quickly
• Experience with Revit in a professional environment
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, rendering programs, and MS Office
• Project Architect who can work autonomously on document production and lead with clients and partners

Responsibilities

• Move architectural projects from design through construction.

Our client, BWS Architects,is adding a Project Architect to its Phoenix team to play a key role in its growing portfolio of diverse public projects. This Project Architect will work on a variety of educational, healthcare, municipal, public safety, civic, and essential facilities projects from start to finish, contributing to all phases of the work.

Responsibilities Include:

moving architectural projects from design through construction.This role oversees the Revit model, directs the production and coordination of construction documents, and acts as the liaison between the Design Architects and partner Engineers to ensure the design intent is accurately translated into a complete, coordinated set of drawings and specifications.Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Architect understands the project's budget and schedule and makes technical decisions that support both.

• A technically oriented Architect who moves projects from design into construction and maintains oversight of document production, budget and schedule, and coordinates the project team.
• A creative problem solver with the ability to lead through collaboration and align teams through strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
• Driven to deliver life‑saving facilities that serve Arizona communities and showcase innovation and sustainability
