Job summary

Dwell is seeking a seasoned design professional to join our architecture and interiors practice in McLean, VA. You will collaborate with the Project Manager, lead day-to-day consultant coordination, and contribute to detailing across multifamily and mixed-use projects.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of design experience, a professional degree, strong Revit and Bluebeam skills, and mentoring abilities. Licensing is preferred but not required; relocation not specified.

• Engage with teams to creatively solve problems.
• Put the mouse down at times and study designs with pen and trace.
• Attending client meetings and leading day to day consultant coordination.
• Developing and directing Project Detailing.
• Specification Coordination.
• Collaboration with Construction Administration to identify issues and assist in developing solutions.
• Driving Technical Quality in our documents, during all phases of a project.

What you'll do:

What you need to bring:

• Ridiculous technical skills – this Dwellian knows how to put a building together
• 6+ years of design experience, license preferred but not required
• Professional degree from an accredited college or university
• Have a positive attitude with a sense of humor

• Excellent organizational skills and follow-through ability

• Thorough understanding and preparation of design projects through all phases of development

Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role at this time. Therefore applicants will need to be authorized to work in the U.S. and currently reside in the U.S.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $115,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and relative experience.
