Job summary

Woolpert in Indianapolis, IN seeks an experienced Project Architect to advance the design and delivery of architecture projects across several markets. You will collaborate with leaders and clients on complex, multidisciplinary initiatives, from concept through permit-ready documents.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Architecture (or 5-year B.Arch) and at least 3 years of architectural experience, with licensure or NCARB certification preferred.

Woolpert is hiring an experienced Project Architect to join our dynamic Architecture team in Indianapolis, IN. This position reports to the Architectural Team Leader and will be responsible for preparing drawings for permitting and bidding; contributing to multiple project types across the region and across the nation. Project types include theme and entertainment, fire stations, industrial and other public or private market developments.

What You Will Bring:

• A Master’s Degree in Architecture or 5-year Bachelor's in Architecture; and a minimum of 3 years related architectural experience.
• Architectural license required, or NCARB certification
• LEED accreditation preferred
• Strong design, execution, and problem-solving skills. Experience on complex projects a strong asset.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging projects.
• Commitment to staying informed on the latest architectural technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in the use of Autodesk Revit for project development and documentation.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) as well as the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
• Strong digital modeling skills and well-developed organization as well as strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay Range

$75,400 — $94,300 USD
