PBK is seeking a Project Architect in California to lead the creation of construction documents and coordinate design teams. The role involves managing schedules, budgets, and client expectations through all project phases, from schematic design to construction administration.
The candidate should be a registered architect with a architecture degree and 5+ years of experience, proficient in Revit, and capable of mentoring junior staff while collaborating with project managers and executives.
The Project Architect is responsible for producing high quality construction documents per PBK standards. The Project Architect will participate in all phases of the project, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. The Project Architect reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the performance of the production team working underneath him or her. The Project Architect will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely projects completion within budget constraints in accordance PBK’s quality and client service standards.
The actual offered base salary for California locations will vary depending on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, work location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role will be at or near the top half of the range provided, but the decision will be dependent on the factors of each individual case. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
