University of California, Davis Health is seeking a Project Policy Analyst 2 for the Patient Contact Center. You will support strategic and operational projects, assist with data collection, and help drive change management efforts across providers, ambulatory operations and IT/Epic teams.

The role focuses on coordinating projects, managing stakeholders, and delivering timely insights to improve service line performance, while maintaining patient confidentiality and aligning with UCDH goals.

  • Progressive experience in health system administration, health care planning, business administration, public administration, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records including Scheduling, Referrals Management, and/or Templates.
  • Experience in implementing Epic-related workflows for a department or service line.
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word and presenting at meetings.

Job Summary

The Project Policy Analyst 2 position at Patient Contact Center (PCC) supports strategic and operational projects for service lines of the PCC and participates in the change management processes. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to project-planning, design, development, and overall project team member support to achieve short-term target goals and long-term organizational initiatives.

The incumbent will be responsible for participating in and supporting the project team's work, including but not limited to implementation of service line projects and continue improvement work for the PCC. This incumbent will assist with data collection, project logistics, documentation for Project Leads, Project Managers, and Access Leadership. The Analyst must have a clear understanding of project work and stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly for Providers, Ambulatory Operations and IT/Epic Teams.

Department Overview

The Patient Contact Center (PCC) is a centralized contact center providing patient service support via telephone (inbound and outbound), Epic, messaging and work queue systems. The PCC is responsible for more than 30% of all appointment and service engagements across UCDH ambulatory division. Service of patient appointments are supported with dynamic guidelines and process flows (which can include systematic decision tree workflows). We proactively support our ambulatory partners with change needs as possible.

Work Environment
  • UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014.
