Job summary

ICF is seeking a Project Analyst, SETA Level 2 to support NSF science and engineering programs from its Alexandria, VA office on a hybrid schedule. You will assist with a broad range of technology and R&D tasks, and provide programmatic support to directors managing an award portfolio.

The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and coordination with government and industry partners to initiate new concepts and partnerships. US citizenship and security clearance are required.

ICF is seeking a Project Analyst, SETA Level 2 to support science and engineering innovation programs at the National Science Foundation (NSF). Your work will contribute to enabling the U.S. to uphold its leadership in innovation in science and engineering. Work Location

This position has a hybrid work schedule with some telework days and is based in Alexandria, VA.

What You Will Bring With You

• BS/BA degree or equivalent education and/or experience.

• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US citizenship is required.

What We Would Like You To Bring With You

• Advanced degrees (Master’s or PHD) in equivalent education are strongly preferred

• Strong AI, emerging technology, and/or national security policy expertise.

• Proficiency with project management tools, system development and mapping tools, and data analytic tools and processes.

• Knowledge of transition to practice processes, including commercialization strategies.

• Experience working in the innovation ecosystem, including high-growth technology enterprises, and with a federal government funding research agency in a Science, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) role.

• Preferred familiarity with NSF’s partnerships landscape study.

• Ability to demonstrate technical skills and experience in managing research projects, data analysis and visualization, survey implementation, project strategy and management.

• Proficiency in interpreting and executing industry-standard project management tools, technical note capture and reporting, and administrative duties such as scheduling meetings and coordinating deliverable feedback.

• Experience supporting and interacting with Senior Leadership

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain effective communication channels with federal technical staff and programmatic contractor personnel.

• Strong multitasking abilities, familiar with a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range

There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$89,649.00 - $152,404.00
