Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is helping a Fort Wayne-based construction leader expand its Project Accountant team. This on-site role in Fort Wayne, IN offers variety, high trust, and a supportive culture with benefits such as medical, 401k match, PTO, and a performance bonus.

The role focuses on managing project finances, collaborating with PMs to monitor budgets, identify savings, and ensure vendor compliance and tax handling. Local candidates only.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong problem solving under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly self-motivated with excellent verbal communication.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage project finances from setup to monthly billing using Sage 300.
• Partner with project managers to track budgets, analyze risks, and spot savings.
• Handle vendor compliance, accounts payable, and sales/use tax.

What you’ll do:

• Manage project finances from setup to monthly billing using Sage 300.
• Partner with project managers to track budgets, analyze risks, and spot savings.
• Handle vendor compliance, accounts payable, and sales/use tax.

What you bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a MUST
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Knack for solving problems under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Highly self-motivated
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills
