Talented Medical Solutions in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to provide specialized nursing care for patients needing intermediate monitoring between med-surg and ICU, with telemetry and prompt intervention.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and BLS; ACLS is required. You will monitor patients, administer medications, perform assessments, educate patients and families, and document care.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required).
• Minimum 1 year of med-surg or telemetry nursing experience (Preferred).
• Current RN license in state of practice (Required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required).

Responsabilités

• Monitors telemetry and vital signs to identify early signs of patient deterioration.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and unit protocols.
• Performs ongoing patient assessments and communicates changes in condition to the care team.
• Provides patient and family education on disease process, medications, and discharge planning.
• Assists with patient mobility, activities of daily living, and safety precautions.
• Documents care provided and patient response in the medical record.
