Job summary

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care (PCU) unit. The 42-bed unit provides direct care to adults with acute cardiac conditions, working under the Nurse Manager to implement care plans and drive outcomes.

Shifts are 12 hours with day and night options. Eligible candidates must hold an RN license, have an associate's or bachelor's degree, and meet certification requirements including BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification
• 1 year acute cardiovascular care experience or other similar nursing experience
• ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age
• Document medical necessity in the medical record
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Conduct timely QI assessments
