Job summary

The position requires active FL RN licensure (or compact), a Nursing Diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), and current BLS; ACLS is required after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure or compact licensure required.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS required after 60 days of hire/transfer
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
