Job summary

HCA Healthcare, TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, providing preoperative and postoperative nursing care and advocating for patients to enhance their experience.

You will assess patients on admission and each shift, perform procedures as ordered, document care in the medical record, administer prescribed medications, and maintain up‑to‑date

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse credential is required.
• Associate/Bachelor degree or RN diploma is required/acceptable.
• No travel required for this role.
• Current acute care experience in a medical-surgical or stepdown unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document care administration in the patient medical record promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical care.
