Working with medical providers, the RN delivers pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and acts as an advocate to support an unparalleled patient experience.

The role emphasizes assessment, timely documentation, medication administration, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 60 months of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes in status.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
• Advocate for patients to support an exceptional patient experience.
