Job summary

The University of Kentucky's UK HealthCare invites applications for a Nurse Clin-ical/Progressive Care Pool/On-Call position. This per diem staff role covers night shifts, weekends, and holidays, delivering total, continuous, patient-centered care to Progressive/Universal patients across UKHC sites.

You will assess, document, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care plan, supervise Nursing Care Technicians, ensure patient satisfaction, and follow university policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• ADN required and active RN license.
• BSN with 18+ months Progressive Care RN experience preferred.
• No experience required in required related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide total, comprehensive, continuous and patient-centered care.
• Assess, document, plan, implement, teach, develop and evaluate a nursing care plan.
• Deliver direct patient care and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Train and delegate duties for Nursing Care Technicians.
• Adhere to University policies and procedures and safety regulations.
