Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide supervision and coordination of nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions, and will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning and implementation.

This role requires nursing degree, active RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required
• BSN degree preferred
• Active RN licensure required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) may be required depending upon area assigned

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians in planning and delivering patient care
• Apply the nursing process in patient assessments, care planning and interventions
• Maintain quality and continuity of care across shifts
• Carry out additional duties within scope of practice as assigned
