Job summary

Bonterra is seeking a Research Coordinator to support Democratic campaigns, PACs, and progressive organizations by delivering timely research and lead coordination. You will research elections, candidates, and campaigns, and track leads and timelines across NGP VAN, ActionKit, and Mobilize.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Research, and Operations to provide accurate research, context, insights, and support for special projects.

Qualifications

• Strong online research capabilities and analytical thinking.
• Familiarity with progressive political landscapes and campaign structures.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational practices.
• Problem-solving, logistics, best practices, and data-driven decision-making abilities
• Ability to synthesize data and present findings clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working both independently and in team settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on elections, candidates, organizations, and campaigns.
• Manage internal systems and processes for tracking lead activity and election timelines.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date territory-specific knowledge.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing to ensure leads are properly routed and followed.
• Participate in internal reporting and data entry activities.
• Support Research and Sales team members in special projects.
• Collaborate with a wide array of NGP VAN staff to exceed each client's expectations.
• Complete administrative tasks to support cross-functional initiatives.
