Position Summary

The Progress & EVM Lead serves as the technical lead for scheduling, progress measurement, and Earned Value Management (EVM) across large-scale capital projects and mega-project programs. This role is responsible for overseeing schedule integrity, validating contractor-reported physical progress, and supporting data-driven project delivery through forecasting, trend analysis, schedule forensics, and performance reporting.

Working closely with project leadership, EPC contractors, and cross-functional teams, the Progress & EVM Lead supports the development and maintenance of resource-loaded schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), progress measurement systems, and project controls baselines aligned with EVM and Critical Path Methodology (CPM) principles.

The ideal candidate possesses advanced expertise in Primavera P6, schedule analytics, forecasting, and integrated project controls delivery within semiconductor, industrial, energy, or EPC mega-project environments.

Note: This opportunity is available at multiple levels. Final placement will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and alignment with business needs. We are committed to providing fair and equitable consideration for all applicants.

  • Develop, manage, and analyze complex resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 across large-scale capital programs and mega-project environments.
  • Lead schedule development, baseline establishment, and progress measurement processes in alignment with project controls standards and Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.
  • Define and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity coding structures, progress measurement systems, and Rules of Credit to support accurate performance tracking and forecasting.
  • Review and interrogate contractor schedule submissions, resource loading, schedule logic, critical path activities, and schedule maturity to ensure compliance with project requirements and controls standards.
  • Perform schedule forensics, trend analysis, what-if scenario planning, and schedule risk evaluations to identify impacts, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Validate contractor-reported physical progress, installed quantities, and earned value calculations to ensure alignment with approved baselines and reporting structures.
  • Analyze performance indicators including SPI, LPI, productivity trends, and forecast curves to support proactive decision-making and schedule recovery efforts.
  • Support integration of project controls data across scheduling, cost management, procurement, and reporting systems.
  • Develop executive-level schedule reports, dashboards, narratives, and forecasting analyses for project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams, EPC contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistency in schedule reporting, forecasting, and performance measurement processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to schedulers and project controls personnel while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and scheduling best practices.
  • Support claims analysis, delay evaluations, and schedule impact assessments as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Data Analytics, or a related technical field required.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive scheduling and project controls experience supporting large-scale industrial or capital projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting mega-projects within semiconductor, oil & gas, energy, EPC, or industrial environments.
  • Advanced expertise in Primavera P6, Critical Path Methodology (CPM), schedule forensics, resource-loaded scheduling, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Strong experience with schedule analysis, forecasting, progress measurement, trend reporting, and performance metrics including SPI and LPI.
  • Proficiency with advanced Excel, Power Query, database tools, and project controls reporting systems.
  • Experience reviewing contractor schedules, validating physical progress, and supporting integrated project controls delivery within complex matrix organizations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex schedule and performance data to project teams and leadership.
  • PMI certifications or related project controls certifications preferred.
