Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in executive communication or corporate communication functions inside of partnership organizations.
  • Experience supporting C-suite or executive leaders in a technical environment, including cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience writing, storytelling, and editing executive-level content.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience managing and growing relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
  • Experience in a similar capacity at companies in the same industry as Google Cloud.
  • Experience interfacing with and being a trusted partner for C-level executives.
  • Familiarity working in a high-intensity, mission-driven organization.
About The Job

As a Programs and Executive Communications Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the internal and external communication strategy for our strategic partners. This involves close collaboration with partner leads, the President of the Global Partner Ecosystem, and various cross-functional stakeholders to manage the entire communications process with these partners. Your key goal is to craft and deliver impactful communications and executive plans that effectively use our corporate narrative to engage these partners.

As a key member of the partner ecosystem organization, this role is crucial for developing and executing the executive communications platform. You will significantly influence the company's internal and external standing with partners by collaborating with cross-functional teams on communication initiatives. You will be a highly motivated, organized team player and use your outstanding communication and writing abilities, strong executive presence, and a deep understanding of cloud solutions and partnerships.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Drive visibility for Google Partner Ecosystem progress by leading executive communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strategize and prepare external updates, newsletters, and social media posts that advance the business narrative.
  • Craft compelling narratives and translate complex technical information into clear messaging regarding co-innovation, marketing, and business execution with strategic partners.
  • Author and edit scripts, talking points, and briefing documents to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Cultivate relationships with leadership across engineering, operations, and strategic functions to align communications with partnership priorities.
