Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Program Coordinator, Memory Care to lead engaging activities and coordinate a well-balanced monthly calendar for residents. This role emphasizes social, cultural, and recreational programs to enhance quality of life.

You will collaborate with the Director of Entertainment & Programming, coordinate transportation within community guidelines, and support residents in participating in outings and events. Full-time schedule Tue-Sat, 10am-6pm.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong customer-service orientation.
• Experience planning and coordinating activities or events preferred.
• Must be proficient in internet resources and basic technology use.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with 3+ years of driving experience would be beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Provide support to develop, coordinate, and implement resident activities and events.
• Develop monthly program calendar balancing cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities.
• Procure groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct residents.
• Encourage resident participation through positive relationships and personalized interactions.
• Assist Director of Entertainment & Programming with medical transportation within guidelines and plan outings.

Job Description

Schedule: Full-Time. Tuesday - Saturday, 10am-6pm.

The Program Coordinator, Memory Care position helps to create and lead an exciting program that maximizes resident engagement and enhances the quality of life of our residents.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing overall support to the department in planning, coordinating, and implementing adult-centric, relevant, elevated, and purposeful activities and events
• Assist in the development of the monthly program calendar to ensure it is equally balanced with cultural, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and recreational opportunities
• Assisting in procuring groups, organizations, and individuals to perform for or instruct the residents
• Actively influence and encourage residents to participate in activities using positive relationships and personalized interactions
• Programing Coordinators assist the Director of Entertainment & Programming in providing medical transportation to residents within the community guidelines, as well as innovative and interesting outings and excursions
• Assist residents in entering and exiting community vehicle

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous relevant experience as a Programming Coordinator (Activities) preferred, but not required
• Must be proficient in the use of Internet resources and demonstrate an understanding and use of current technology
• Must have a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle record, and at least three (3) years of driving experience
• Strong customer service skills are required
