Sefi Fabricators is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Programmer/Draftsman to join our team in Amityville, NY. Responsibilities:

• Develop and write CNC or CAD/CAM programs for manufacturing and fabrication processes
• Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using AutoCad
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and project requirements
• Modify and update existing programs and drawings as project needs evolve
• Perform quality checks on programs and drafts to ensure compliance with standards
• Maintain organized documentation of programs, drawings, and revisions
• Speak with Customers about their project needs

Requirements:

• Experience in CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, or technical drafting
• Proficiency with drafting software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar platforms
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and accuracy
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production environment
• Be familiar with properties of stainless steel
