Job summary

BeyondSOF in Richmond, VA is seeking a Tax - Programmer/Analyst 2 to help enhance the Virginia Field Audit Compliance Tool (VFACT). You will implement new tax types, improve data flows, and build RESTful services to support audit workloads.

You will work onsite three days a week with hybrid options, collaborate with the VFACT Application Manager, and ensure integration with the IRMS replacement for Sales and Withholding taxes. U.S. work authorization is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Angular.
• 3+ years of SQL & Oracle database experience.
• 2+ years of REST API development or integration.
• Tax audit process experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Virginia tax and tax administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and build new features for the Virginia Field Audit Compliance Tool (VFACT).

ABOUT THE ROLE

The client seeks an individual to continuously enhance and build new features for the Virginia Field Audit Compliance Tool (VFACT). This is a custom build that will track audit activities and caseloads conducted by Tax Field Auditors using the VFACT system.
Resources is needed to implement new tax types such as Corp Income Tax, and other miscellaneous taxes into VFACT. The resource will also work on the integration of VFACT with the replacement of IRMS for existing taxes such as Sales, Withholding and etc. This contractor will work under the direction of the VFACT Application Manager.
