Job description

KEY ESSENTIALS TO BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT CORP
Program Supervisor / RBT
Hybrid Supervision + Direct Service Role · McDonough, GA
Why This Role Exists

Our Georgia clinic has a strong RBT team and strong BCBA leadership and nothing in between. That gap is where RBTs lose in-the-moment support and where BCBAs get pulled into work a skilled mid-tier clinician should own. We built the Program Supervisor / RBT role to close it. This is a working clinical seat: half your week you carry your own billable sessions, and the other half you coach RBTs on the floor, run fidelity checks, and keep cases moving under BCBA direction. You'll be the first person in this seat in Georgia, which means you help define what it becomes.

About Us

We're a five-clinic ABA therapy company with four locations across Southern California and one in Georgia, founded in 2016 by a BCBA with 25+ years in the field. Our team of 68+ professionals delivers evidence-based therapy through our proprietary S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. methodology and our Sensory Spot locations prove that therapy can actually feel like play.

We serve every client who walks through our doors insurance-funded, private pay, open play, and camp families alike. We're women-founded, minority-owned, and we don't sacrifice clinical quality for profit. If you want to work somewhere that's serious about outcomes and serious about its people, you're in the right place.

How S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. Work

S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. is our proprietary group ABA therapy methodology a pod-based model where social skills, behavior intervention, and individualized goals are delivered inside a structured group dynamic. Here's how it works on the ground:

  • Each pod has 3 to 6 clients with varied diagnoses autism, ADHD, ADD, Down syndrome, developmental delays grouped by age, skill level, and goal alignment.
  • The facilitator-to-client ratio is 1:3 inside the pod.
  • Clinical support is always available in the pod. On-site supervision comes from a Program Supervisor, BCaBA, or BCBA, who moves between pods providing real-time coaching, oversight, and support for challenging behaviors. In this role, you are that person during your supervision blocks.
  • We use a push-in / pull-out model: group work happens inside the pod, and 1:1 intensive instruction pulls out when a client needs dedicated skill-building or behavior support.
Who We Serve

KEBM serves every client who walks through our doors no tiers, no priority treatment, no "real clients vs. drop-ins." In Georgia, that means:

  • Insurance-funded ABA clients (Georgia Medicaid, Medicaid managed care, and commercial insurance)
  • Private pay therapy clients
  • Camp participants during any seasonal KEBM camp

A camp kid gets the same quality of care as an insurance client. An open play family gets the same respect as a full-time ABA family. If that feels natural to you, you're going to fit here. If the idea of treating any of those clients as less-than bothers you, this isn't the place.

The Role — What You'll Actually Do

Your week is split by design:

  • 20+ hours of direct, billable RBT work — 1:1 and pod sessions you deliver yourself, documented to the same standard you'll hold the team to. This is a firm weekly minimum, not a nice-to-have.
  • About 12 hours of on-floor supervision support — coaching RBTs in real time, modeling interventions, supporting challenging behaviors, and running monthly fidelity observations.
  • About 8 hours of case management and data review — tracking progress, flagging plateaus and regression to the BCBA, and preparing decision-ready summaries.
In this role, you'll:
  • Run your own sessions with fidelity — implementing BCBA-authored plans across 1:1 and pod settings, taking clean data, and completing notes within 24 hours.
  • Coach the McDonough RBT team — real-time feedback, in-plan problem solving, and the kind of on-site support that keeps good RBTs from burning out.
  • Keep treatment implementation consistent — coordinating pod placement and RBT assignments within the approved schedule so every client gets the plan as written.
  • Be the BCBA's eyes on the data — reviewing trends weekly and bringing the BCBA clear, objective summaries instead of surprises.
  • Support families — delivering parent training under BCBA direction and routing clinical questions to the right person.
  • Help build Georgia's bench — onboarding new staff and modeling what strong session and documentation habits look like.
In your first 90 days, success looks like:

Your 20 billable hours running consistently, your notes clean and on time, fidelity observations on the calendar for every RBT you support, the team knowing exactly when you're in session and when you're on the floor — and the BCBA trusting your case summaries.

Who You Are

You might be perfect for this if:

  • You hold your BCaBA — or you're an RBT in a Master's program with fieldwork hours accumulating. This role is built to move your BCaBA/BCBA path forward.
  • You still love direct work — and you don't see half a week of sessions as a step backward. Your credibility with the team comes from being great at the job you're coaching.
  • You're ready to lead people who may have been your peers — with fairness, clear documentation, and the confidence to give real feedback.
  • You can switch hats cleanly — from treating clinician to coach to case manager, and you keep your time honest across all three.
Growth

At KEBM, your next role isn't hypothetical. We built a clinical pipeline from Social Skills Assistant through Chief Clinical Director, and every seat has a real compensation band, a real scope of responsibility, and a real path to get there.

Physical Requirements

This role is physically active especially during your billable sessions. You'll spend much of your day standing, walking, sitting on the floor, transitioning between activities, and occasionally responding to challenging behaviors.

  • Frequent (4–8 hours): sitting, standing, walking, simple grasping, reaching (all directions), bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting
  • Occasional (1–3 hours): keyboarding, fine manipulation, stairs, lifting or carrying 1–50 lbs
  • Crisis readiness: the ability to respond appropriately to behaviors including elopement, aggression (hitting, kicking, spitting, throwing), and self-injury with full training and supervisory backup
What You'll Actually Encounter — The Honest Section

Most ABA job posts sanitize this part and then lose hires at day 30 when reality hits. We'd rather tell you now.

  • Aggression — hitting, kicking, biting, scratching, throwing objects. Training and crisis protocols are in place; you'll never be expected to manage it alone.
  • Elopement — clients running or leaving the session space. The clinic is designed to be safe; staffing is set to make elopement manageable.
  • Self-injury — head-hitting, scratching, and similar behaviors. Protocols exist for every scenario.
  • Non-compliance and task refusal — some sessions will test your creativity and persistence.
  • Vocal stereotypy and scripting — understanding function is part of the clinical picture.
  • Sensory-seeking and sensory-avoidant behaviors — you'll read sensory cues and adjust the environment on the fly.
Why we tell you this upfront:

Because we respect your decision-making. This work isn't for everyone and that's okay. But for the right person, there's nothing more rewarding than helping a child build the skills that change the trajectory of their life.
