Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in education, child development, social/human services, human development and family studies or related area, with one or more years in a leadership or supervisory position.
• Four or more years of professional or technical experience in providing social/human services, education, business, and possession of a high school diploma or high school equivalency, with one or more years in a leadership or supervisory position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on the Family Eligibility team within the Child Care Subsidy section who are responsible for the review and processing of family applications to determine eligibility for child care assistance.
• Oversee eligibility determinations to ensure decisions are made in accordance with all federal and state statutes, rules, and regulations
• Conduct quality reviews of family eligibility case determinations and provide feedback to staff accordingly.
• Utilize the Child Care Data System (CCDS) to view application details and monitor dashboards for performance metrics.
• Update standard operating procedures used for processing applications as needed.
• Responsible for required data collection, analysis, and reporting of child care subsidy information.
• Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.
