Job summary

Victor in Grass Valley, CA seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of program services and lead service delivery teams providing youth and family support. You will ensure compliance with agency standards and supervise staff, while coordinating onboarding and training with the Executive Director.

Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control delivery of program requirements per agency standards.
  • Ensure documentation and case records meet agency and program standards.
  • Provide supervision and performance management of program staff when applicable.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop on‑the‑job training and orientation.
  • Oversee referral and intake processes to maintain high quality service delivery.
  • Implement quality assurance systems and participate in quality improvement teams.
  • Provide direct services as needed to support continuity of program delivery.
  • Maintain relationships with community agencies and stakeholders such as Social Services and Mental Health.
  • Offer on‑call services for the service delivery team if needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Program Supervisor is directly responsible to the Executive Director for the day-to-day operations of the program services. The Program Supervisor manages the functioning of service delivery teams, which provide a wide array of community-based youth and family support services.

Essential Functions
  • Monitors and controls the delivery of assigned program requirements in accordance with Agency standards and acceptable professional practices.
  • Monitors and ensures that documentation and case records are developed and maintained in accordance with Agency and program standards.
  • Provides supervision and performance management of program staff, if applicable.
  • In partnership with the Executive Director, develops, maintains, and assures implementation of on-the-job training and orientation of new staff.
  • Monitors and controls the referral and intake process, maintaining high quality service delivery and good working relations within the community being served.
  • Implements and maintains quality assurance systems and reporting programs related to clinical services and participates on Quality Improvement teams as assigned.
  • Provides direct services as needed to ensure program and service delivery continuity.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with community agencies and stakeholders such as Social Services, Juvenile probations, Mental Health, and education.
  • If needed, provides on-call services for service delivery team.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Education And Experience
  • Completion of a clinical program with a Masters’ or Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field of behavioral or medical science from an accredited educational institution.
  • Must have verbal and writing skills in the English language, and the ability to write concise, informative professional reports and all assigned documentation in a timely manner.
Position/Program Requirements
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license, personal automobile insurance and driving record that meets the standards outlined in the Agency’s Personnel Policy: Motor Vehicle Operating Standards.
  • Must be physically and mentally fit in accordance with the Agency’s Personnel Policy: Physical Fitness Standards and Examinations. Must be willing to complete a Tuberculosis (TB) test, drug screening test and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination(s).
  • Must be willing to complete a personal background investigation conducted by the State of California.
  • Must obtain First Aid Certification. Must obtain a CPR Certification (only when required by local county or program).
  • Must be flexible to work nights and weekends, may need to work a split-shift, varying schedule according to operational need.
  • Must be willing to work within a culturally integrated workplace and be willing to respect human differences based upon protected classes as defined by state, federal and local laws, or any other condition that distinguishes people from one another.
Physical Requirements
  • Have an adequate range of body motion and mobility to work in a residential, office or outdoor environment including standing and walking (even and uneven surfaces), alternating between standing and sitting for extended periods of time, bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching balancing and occasional carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Physically able to walk up and down stairs routinely.
  • Physically able to perform CPR and First Aid as trained.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in a vehicle for traveling to recreational activities, home visits, DCFS and court locations which may be up to 100 miles driving distance.
  • Requires the ability to utilize computer and telephone systems, which includes the coordination of eye and hand and fine manipulation by the hands and fingers for typing, writing and working with files.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous work with severely emotionally disturbed children.
  • Possess basic knowledge related to public regulations and guidelines governing the operations of mental health programs.
  • Previous experience working within a MediCal certified site and familiarity with MediCal billable standards and expectations.
COMPENSATION:
  • Salary Range: $78,728 - $108,264 annually DOE
  • Bilingual Pay: $4,000
