Job summary

gTANGIBLE Corporation, Arlington, VA, seeks a Program Security Representative (PSR) I II to provide multi-discipline security support for SAP/SCI and collateral data. The role requires coordinating security for government programs and mentoring security staff.

The PSR will ensure adherence to NISPOM and related directives, develop safeguarding policies, train personnel, conduct facility reviews, and manage corrective actions. Top Secret/SCI eligibility and polygraph consent are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area and 10-12 years of related experience OR Associates Degree in a related area and 12-14 years of related experience OR 14-16 years of equivalent experience without a degree.
• SFPC counts towards 3 years of experience
• SPSC counts towards 5 years of experience
• SPED Certifications max 5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with NISPOM and SAP policy.
• Develop and implement policies for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data.
• Provide day-to-day security support and recommend improvements to policies and systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities and risks in test, training, and operations.
• Assist in Operations Security program development and training.
• Provide contractor and facility oversight and guidance.
• Brief personnel on security topics at varying levels.
• Conduct SAP facility compliance reviews and close-outs.
• Track corrective actions from compliance reviews.
• Notify program staff of pertinent security matters.
• Investigate loss or suspected compromise of classified information and perform damage assessments.
• Coordinate with SAP security to incorporate lessons learned into education and awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Program Security Representative's primary function is to provide multi-discipline security support for one or more of the customer's Special Access Programs (SAP) and provide day-to-day multi-discipline analysis for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SAP activities. Duties include the following:

• Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, Director of Central Intelligence Directives, Intelligence Community Directive, and SAP policy.
• Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI and collateral data in support of US military operations.
• Provide day-to-day security support that includes continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide appropriate recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program.
• Assist in providing contractor and subordinate facility assistance and oversight.
• Brief all levels of personnel, both in the government and senior civilian services, on a variety of security related topics.
• Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews, and facility close-outs.
• Monitor, report and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.
• Ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff.
• Conduct exploration of any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified and/or sensitive information, including conducting preliminary inquiries and generating damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information.
• Coordinate with SAP security personnel to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the curriculum for the SAP security education & awareness program.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area and 10-12 years of related experience OR Associates Degree in a related area and 12-14 years of related experience OR 14-16 years of equivalent experience without a degree.
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience
  • Maximum equivalent experience for Security Professional Education Development (SPED) Certifications is no more than 5 years
• Minimum of two years of SAP experience required.
• Prior active duty in the U.S. Air Force a plus.
