Job summary

DCS Corporation seeks a Senior Program Scheduler to provide expert scheduling support for the AWACS program at Tinker AFB, OK, blending on-site and hybrid work. You will lead IMS/IMP development, linking milestones and deliverables across multiple contractors and USAF stakeholders.

You will manage schedule relationships, prepare critical path analyses, and present scheduling status and risks to leadership. A Secret clearance and DoD experience are required for this senior role.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 5 years of DoD experience, or 8 years in the DoD with 5 years in related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level scheduling support across AWACS programs and upgrade efforts aligned with E7 modernization objectives.
• Develop, manage, and maintain IMS, IMP, WBS, and EIMS with proper task linkage and milestones.
• Define relationships across acquisition phases, milestones, solicitations, awards, design reviews, testing, production, and deployment.
• Monitor monthly inputs from IPTs, contractors, and government stakeholders and integrate into the master schedule using CPM.
• Prepare IMS technical products (Gantt charts, network diagrams, critical path analysis, milestone tracking, risk identification).
• Coordinate schedule activities among multi-discipline teams and USAF stakeholders; advise on schedule feasibility and risk.

Job description

DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Scheduler providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/Airborne Warning and Control System (AFLCMC/HBS/WIW). The Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Division, has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to deliver airborne Battle Management Command & Control (BMC2) capabilities that support joint, allied, coalition, humanitarian, and homeland defense operations. Modernization efforts enable continued involvement with worldwide operations by revitalizing legacy mission systems, replacing aging computer architectures, integrating multisensor data fusion, and improving global expeditionary readiness and availability. Additionally, the Division assists in the planned divestiture of the E3 platform and in shaping development of followon capabilities for future airborne C2 systems.

This is a full-time Hybrid position located at Tinker AFB, OK.

Essential Job Functions:

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Provide seniorlevel scheduling support across multiple AWACS programs and upgrade efforts, ensuring alignment with E7 modernization objectives.
• Develop, manage, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and Enterprise Integrated Master Schedules (EIMS), ensuring accurate linkage of tasks, dependencies, and program phases.
• Define schedule relationships among acquisition phases, milestones, solicitations, contract awards, design reviews, deliveries, testing events, production phases, and deployment objectives.
• Monitor monthly schedule inputs from IPTs, contractors, and government stakeholders; integrate them into the master schedule using Critical Path Method discipline.
• Support government planning and coordination activities related to schedule progress, award planning, and readiness to execute program milestones.
• Advise proposal evaluation teams on offerors' approaches to schedule feasibility, mission capability, and proposal risk.
• Coordinate schedule activities among multidiscipline teams within the program office, including USAF stakeholders and multiple major defense contractors supporting E7 simulation, training, and system development
• Prepare and deliver IMS technical products including Gantt charts, network diagrams, critical path analysis, milestone tracking, and schedule risk identification.
• Ensure proper integration of sustainment and acquisition activities into the schedule, linking lifecycle phases where applicable.
• Communicate schedule objectives, status, and risks to leadership, customers, and contractor teams; propose corrective actions when schedule variances occur.
• Support requirements development, schedule feasibility assessments, and planning documents to ensure program objectives remain achievable.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 5 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD OR 8 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD

Technical Skills

• Develop, manage, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and enterprise-level schedules across AWACS programs.
• Apply Critical Path Method discipline, baseline management, and schedule risk identification to ensure executable program timelines.
• Integrate monthly schedule inputs from IPTs, contractors, and internal AWACS stakeholders into IMS structures.
• Define schedule relationships spanning acquisition phases, milestones, solicitations, contract awards, design reviews, testing events, production phases, and operational deployment objectives.
• Produce Gantt charts, network diagrams, technical schedule products, and other IMS artifacts for government and contractor use.
• Use Microsoft Project and Open Plan Professional to manage detailed scheduling tasks and produce advanced scheduling outputs.
• Advise proposal evaluation teams on schedule feasibility and risk based on Request for Proposal requirements.

Interpersonal Skills

• Coordinate schedule activities among multi-disciplinary PMO personnel, contractors, and government stakeholders supporting E7 AWACS programs.
• Communicate schedule objectives, risks, timelines, and impacts clearly to leadership, IPTs, and broader program teams.
• Collaborate effectively with major defense contractors responsible for AWACS simulators, trainers, and program milestone development.
• Work independently as a self-starter while maintaining alignment with established schedule management processes.
• Provide informed recommendations and corrective actions when schedule deviations or risks are identified.
• Support cross-team requirements development and planning by maintaining awareness of program objectives and constraints.
• Engage constructively with proposal teams, government personnel, and PM leadership to support acquisition decision-making.
