Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Program/Project Management Lead to drive the delivery of complex programs for clients in the New Jersey area. The role requires onsite presence with the client four days a week in Jersey City or Pennington, plus a five-day mandate away per quarter.

You will define scope, monitor deliverables, manage stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes. A strong PM background and familiarity with Agile and risk management are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of work experience demonstrating expert proficiency in Project Management.
• Associates Degree or greater required; Advanced PM skills preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and risk management is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Program/Project Management Lead, you will be responsible for managing the overall delivery of a program or project to achieve business outcomes.
• This includes defining project scope, monitoring the execution of deliverables, and communicating across multiple stakeholders to manage expectations, issues, and outcomes.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• Providing solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams is a critical part of this role.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project management activities from initiation to completion
• Define project scope in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure clear objectives and deliverables
• Manage project milestones and dependencies to maintain progress and alignment with goals
• Support the oversight of financial, contractual, and operational commitments related to projects
• Monitor delivery performance and quality through metrics and regular status reporting
• Identify and mitigate risks as outlined in the project plan to ensure successful outcomes.

This role requires being onsite with the client 4 days per week in Jersey City or Pennington, NJ. This role also requires 5 days away mandate per quarter by the client.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of work experience demonstrating expert proficiency in Project Management Associates Degree or greater

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in the following: Project Delivery Change Management Agile Project Management Project Planning Project Coordination Risk Management

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
