American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification for a travel assignment in Homer, Alaska.

The 13-week, 40-hour weekly role in a critical access hospital covers inpatient acute care with some long-term care support, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm. Housing is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Speech-Language Pathologist experience.
• CCC-SLP certification via ASHA.
• Active Alaska SLP license in hand.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Experience in medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services in an acute care hospital setting.
• Work with inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Document in TruBridge Evident EMR.
• Maintain 8-hour day schedule Monday–Friday with some flexibility.
• Collaborate with care teams to support patient goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
• Prior experience in a medical setting preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) via ASHA required
• Active Alaska SLP license required in hand at time of consideration
