Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking a seasoned Program/Project Manager to support NSWCPD Code 522/526 in managing technical, logistical, and administrative services for ship control system projects across naval platforms.

The role covers development, fielding, maintenance, and at-sea testing, requiring strong leadership and cybersecurity experience. Candidates should have 10 years PM experience, 3+ years managing cybersecurity projects, 5 years NAVSEA/DoD program support, and 4 years HM&E/Navigation project

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional program/project management experience.
• 5+ years supporting NAVSEA/DoD programs.
• 4+ years integrating and managing HM&E or Navigation projects.
• Minimum 3 years managing cybersecurity projects and personnel.
• U.S. citizen; must have a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical, logistical, programmatic, training, field engineering, cybersecurity, and administrative services for NSWCPD ship system projects.
• Provide land and shipboard hardware/software development, testing, and shipboard troubleshooting support (including at-sea).
• Support NAVSEA/DoD programs and ensure program integrity and compliance.
• Coordinate cybersecurity project management and personnel across multiple programs.
• Oversee fielding, maintenance, and upgrade of designated shipboard systems.

Job description

• This position supports NSWCPD Code 522/526 in the management of technical, logistical, programmatic, training, field engineering, cybersecurity, and administrative services required for development, fielding, and maintenance of NSWCPD LCS, LPD, LSM, LHD, LSD, DDG, CVN, LHA, FFG, and CG Ship Control System projects.
• The management functions include support for land and shipboard based hardware and software development, testing, program management support, shipboard installation, testing, and troubleshooting support (including at-sea troubleshooting and testing), waterfront technical, logistical and training support, and administrative support, as required to maintain and upgrade designated shipboard systems for the U.S. Navy. Required Skills and/or Experience: Targeted experience.
• 10 years professional experience in program/project management.
• 5 years professional experience supporting to NAVSEA/DoD programs
• 4 years professional experience integrating and managing HM&E or Navigation projects
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience on managing cybersecurity projects and personnel Degree Requirements:
