Organization: HR Workforce Planning Job Summary: The Program Manager, Workforce Planning supports the Bloomberg Foundation grant with Nurses Middle College and their partnership with Vanderbilt Health. This position will provide oversight and program management for enterprise approaches for secondary education engagement and experience. Responsibilities include coordination of external and internal partnerships that develop a spectrum of educational opportunities and experiences, management of grant requirements and deliverables, coordination with state and regional agencies that support workforce development initiatives, and the development of relevant healthcare pathways that support the program initiatives.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Preferred Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field; master's degree preferred. Experience working in healthcare, clinical, educational, or workforce development environments. Knowledge of K-12 school systems, school district operations, and the high school educational setting. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic engagement initiatives with internal and external stakeholders. Strong partnership development skills, including establishing, cultivating, and sustaining relationships with schools, healthcare organizations, community partners, and other key stakeholders. Experience managing complex partnerships and collaborating across multiple organizations to achieve shared objectives. Understanding of healthcare career pathways and workforce development, including educational and career progression opportunities within healthcare professions. Ability to identify, develop, and expand programs that support healthcare career exploration and talent pipeline initiatives. Proven project management skills with the ability to build programs, processes, and partnerships from the ground up. Experience leading initiatives in ambiguous environments, demonstrating creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive projects independently, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
