Job summary

Nightwing seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead complex government programs within our CODEX division in Huntsville, AL. You will manage the full lifecycle, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure deliverables meet contractual obligations and mission objectives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of government program leadership, active TS/SCI with CI Poly, and a proven track record in FAR-based contracting and large budgets. DoD/IC experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, business or related discipline.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance.
  • 5+ years of managing government programs in technical or IT environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FAR and government contracting.
  • Excellent communication abilities with government customers and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • PMP certification (preferred).
  • Experience with DoD/DOJ/IC customers.
  • Track record managing programs valued at $5M+.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface with government customers and key stakeholders.
  • Direct complete program lifecycle from initiation through closeout.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive program schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, deliverables, and performance standards.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues.
  • Develop and present program status reports, executive briefings, and technical documentation.
  • Guide technical solution development and implementation strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure deliverables meet customer requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing cross-functional program teams.
  • Drive collaboration across contracts, finance, and supporting organizations.
  • Champion a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Establish and nurture trusted relationships with government customers.
  • Lead customer meetings, program reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and contribute to business development.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government contracting

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, multi-priority environments
  • Proficiency with program management methodologies and tools Preferred Qualifications * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Federal law enforcement background or experience supporting law enforcement agencies
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience
  • Master's degree in relevant field
