Job summary

An urban school district in the U.S. is seeking an Hourly Program Manager to develop systems supporting students impacted by school transitions. The ideal candidate will manage program coordination, engage with key stakeholders, and ensure processes are followed to aid students' success. A Bachelor's degree is required along with 2+ years of experience on complex projects, preferably in an educational context. This temporary, non-exempt position is focused on building support systems and guiding families through enrollment challenges.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working on complex projects involving external and internal partners.
• Experience working in a school, for a school district, or education-related organization is desired.

Responsibilities

• Execute a district-wide transition program rooted in the CPS Equity Framework.
• Establish and facilitate cross-functional working groups to streamline the transfer process.
• Collaborate with school leadership to audit and secure necessary supports.
• Serve as the primary contact for families, navigating the enrollment process.

Skills

Ability to develop tools and systems to track and monitor student-related data

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to define problems, analyze data, and outline valid conclusions and action steps

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
