Job summary

Unity House in Auburn, NY seeks a full-time human services supervisor to lead a compassionate team and deliver person-centered supports. The role emphasizes collaborative planning, staff supervision, and strong client relationships.

You will coordinate service plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in continuous quality improvement. Monday–Friday 8am–4pm, with on-call duties as needed. Salary falls within 25.07–30.09 USD/hour range.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma/GED required, Associates preferred.
  • Three-four years experience in relevant human services field required.
  • Computer skills and keyboarding familiarity required.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and leadership/managerial skills essential.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Evidence of understanding and empathy for intellectual/developmental disabled (I/DD) population.
  • Previous knowledge/experience with Person Centered Planning, writing/providing service plans, OPWDD regulations, Medicaid regulations and budgets preferred.
  • NYS Driver’s License in accordance with regulations and Agency policies, practices, and procedures required.
  • Must be able to be reached by phone.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and provide service plans in line with OPWDD/Medicaid regulations.
  • Collaborate with team and coordinate with clients and families.
  • Maintain compliance with agency policies and regulations.
  • Be available for on-call duties as scheduled.
