Job Summary
The Program Manager (Research Compliance), under direction, plans,organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities, developingand implementing procedures for the administration of theprogram.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities,developing and implementing procedures for the administration of the program.
- Assists in developing strategic plans and goals to support theprogram.
- Assists with the development and production of materialsdesigned for the program.
- Develops and conducts programs including leadership training,conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Supervises program support staff and student assistants.
- Assists with yearly budgetary and contract processes. Preparesvouchers, purchase orders, and requisitions and coordinates withaccounting personnel and other support staff.
- Researches, develop, writes white papers, grant applications,and prepares presentations. Maintains and develops communicationsbetween partners by attending meetings and conference calls.

Additional Responsibilities
- Coordinate institutional research compliance activities andassist faculty, staff, and students in navigating applicablefederal, state, sponsor, and university research regulations andrequirements.
- Review research protocols, proposals, and related documentationfor compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirementsand provide guidance regarding corrective actions and processimprovements.
- Support the administration of institutional compliancecommittees, including agenda preparation, documentation, recordmaintenance, follow-up activities, and communication of committeedeterminations.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuousimprovement of research compliance policies, procedures, guidancedocuments, and educational resources.
- Develop and deliver training, workshops, and outreachactivities to promote compliance awareness and foster a culture ofresponsible research conduct across the University.
- Compile compliance metrics, maintain records, prepare reports,and assist with audits, assessments, and monitoring activitiesrelated to research compliance programs.
Minimum Requirements
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Biology, HealthSciences, Behavioral Sciences, Public Health, Psychology, SocialSciences, Higher Education Administration, Research Administration,or a closely related field.
- Experience - Five years of related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may beconsidered.
Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other officeproductivity applications.
- Research compliance principles, regulations, and administrativeprocesses.
- Policy interpretation, records management, and reportpreparation.
Ability to:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with faculty, students,staff, and external stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, andmaintain attention to detail.
- Exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively in addressingcompliance-related matters.
License/Professional Certification - None

Salary: $48,110.40/annual
