Central Carolina Technical College invites applications for a Radiologic Technology instructor. The position requires a Master’s degree and ARRT certification, with at least three years of clinical experience and two years’ teaching in a JRCERT-accredited program.
You will lead course delivery, assess student progress, and contribute to program accreditation efforts. The role includes developing annual action plans, supervising adjunct faculty, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws,
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of teaching area subject matter andteach day and evening classes at any college campus, other approvedlocations, and online when necessary. Prepare daily lectures andevaluate student progress and maintain accurate administrativerecords pertaining to classes. Prepare and evaluate tests, exams,projects, research assignments, and other course assignments.Develop and implement long-range operational and strategic plan forarea(s) of responsibility to include curriculumdevelopment/revision and course/program implementation and/orelimination. Develop, implement, manage and evaluate academicprogram(s) by developing an annual plan of action, evaluating thegoals and objectives of the plan, and using results to informcontinuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all federal, state,and local laws as well as state, system, and college policies andprocedures. Develop and maintain operational procedures to complywith such laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with allaccreditation standards related to area(s) of responsibility.Ensure selection of appropriate textbooks/course materials. Hire,train, supervise, and evaluate full-time and adjunct faculty inarea(s) of responsibility. Ensure appropriate academic and programdata is collected and reported. Make recommendations fororganizational efficiency and communicate personnel vacancies.Communicate any personnel issues to the appropriate supervisor.Manage instructional management functions including classroomfacilities, clinical/placement sites, and distance educationdelivery. Strategically develop academic schedule and assignfaculty. Provide leadership and guidance in the management ofadvisement issues for students by assigning student advisors andmonitoring the number of advisees for faculty members. Work withstudents with academic concerns, and communicate student issues toappropriate supervisors and personnel.
Master’s degree, three years of clinical experience as well as twoyears’ experience as an Instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.Must also currently hold American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent,in radiography.
