Job summary

Credence Management Solutions, LLC seeks an experienced program & acquisition professional to support Air Force Fighter & Advanced Aircraft initiatives. You will assist in planning, designing, and evaluating solutions while building strong relationships with government offices and contractors to advance capability plans.

The role requires active security clearance and extensive DoD experience, with a focus on program management, logistics, and cross-functional coordination across Air Force

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• Advanced degree with substantial DoD experience or extensive DoD-experience with certifications.
• Fifteen years of directly related experience with relevant certifications as described in PWS labor category requirements.

• Assist in applying and demonstrating proficiency in project/program initiatives by investigating, planning, designing, developing, implementing, or evaluating solutions.
• Provide expert-level issue resolution and recommendations to achieve program outcomes across areas such as program management, logistics, maintenance, supply, financial management, test, security, information management, and contracting.
• Build and maintain business relationships between the program office and government offices, contractors, and Air Force stakeholders to support Fighter & Advanced Aircraft (F/AA) Capability Plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in independently applying and demonstrating proficiency in various project/program initiatives, including investigating, analyzing, planning, designing, developing, implementing, or evaluating solutions.
• Provide expert‑level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes across functional areas such as program management, logistics, maintenance, supply, financial management, test, security management, information management, and contracting.
• Build and maintain business relationships between the program office and supporting government offices, other contractors, and key Air Force stakeholders—including AFMC, AFLCMC, AFRL, Air Combat Command, and AFGSC—to support the Fighter & Advanced Aircraft (F/AA) Capability Plans and Programs.
• Represent the interests of the Fighter & Advanced portfolio in Service Core Function processes and influence science and technology investment decisions favorable to the portfolio.
• Leverage USAF MAJCOM expertise (HQ USAF, HQ ACC, or HQ AFGSC) to advise on war‑fighter requirements and serve as a key advisor to Capability Planning leadership.
• Prepare and review data, coordinate with managers, and finalize documentation for verbal and visual presentation of plan status at meetings (e.g., IPT, PMR, TIM, working groups).
• Support analytic identification of needs and develop requirements for potential materiel solutions, initiating high‑confidence acquisition programs through early systems engineering, early test and evaluation, technology and manufacturing maturity, life‑cycle analyses, and early acquisition intelligence engagement.
• Identify and solve problems, and influence science and technology investment decisions by developing and executing collaborative processes that bridge war‑fighter identified needs to acquisition planning.
• Assume acquisition policy responsibilities, including streamlining, integrated weapon systems management, manning, and best‑practice lessons learned, for assigned projects.
• Facilitate trade‑space evaluation of emerging capability needs, including system‑of‑systems assessments, and incorporate comprehensive life‑cycle planning from pre‑concept through disposal.
• Represent Fighter & Advanced interests in TIMs and working groups and serve as a liaison between user requirements and organic engineering activity.
• Conduct studies and analysis of tradeoffs for incorporating potential capabilities into future platform capabilities, applying science and technology principles to identify, research, and develop life‑cycle opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Master's or Doctorate in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five of which must be in the DoD; OR
• Bachelor's in a related field and twelve years of experience in the discipline, five of which must be in the DoD; OR
• Fifteen years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD.
