Job summary

iLocatum in Avon, CT, is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional optical fiber product programs from concept to customer, driving scale-ups and complex technology transfers.

You will manage scope, risk, schedule, and resources across multiple sites, champion program progress with leadership, and ensure compliance with ISO quality systems while enabling efficient supplier and product transfers.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a technical field is required.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Project strongly preferred.
• Optical fiber or cabling technology background is valuable.
• Experience working under ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead new product development, process improvement, and cost reduction programs from concept through execution
• Manage scope, risk, schedule, cost, and technical performance across cross-functional teams
• Prioritize staffing and capital resources, and act as program champion in communicating progress to leadership
• Partner with procurement and engineering to build program supply chains and manage supplier delivery commitments
• Support sales and marketing in customer education and new product positioning
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and institutionalizing best practices
