Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Program Manager for Optical Fiber Manufacturing to lead multi-location product programs from concept to customer delivery. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, phase-gate development, and cost/schedule control.

The position requires a technical B.S. and 3–15 years of program management, with PMP and MS Project preferred. Prior fiber/cabling tech and ISO quality systems experience are highly valued. Two openings in a growing, climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a technical field required.
• 3–15 years of program management experience across full product lifecycle.
• Experience with phase-gate development processes.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Microsoft Project proficiency preferred.
• Experience with optical fiber or cabling technology preferred.
• ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 / AS9100 quality systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product programs from concept through execution.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, and performance across teams.
• Prioritize staffing and capital resources; report progress to leadership.
• Partner with procurement/engineering to build program supply chains and manage supplier delivery.
• Support sales/marketing with customer education and product positioning.
• Capture lessons learned and institutionalize best practices.
• Navigate resourcing conflicts and program viability discussions.

Must-Haves
