We are growing fast in New York and expanding to Florida, and we would love to welcome you to our community! We work tirelessly every day to ensure children have access to a fun, rigorous, whole-child education regardless of zip code or economic status. When you join SA, you play a part in giving every student who walks through our doors a fair shot at reaching his or her potential.

About the Role

We are seeking a Program Manager, Learning Platforms & Systems, to own and drive the planning and implementation of the technology and systems that enable Success Academy's Learning Program.

This role will serve as the business owner across major Learning technology initiatives, partnering closely with Technology to translate Learning Program needs into solutions and drive work from requirements through implementation. The portfolio will include our learning platforms, Student Information System (SIS), AI solutions, academic technology, and other systems used to deliver and manage the Learning Program.

This is a hands-on role. The Program Manager will be expected to understand the work in depth, support decision-making, drive stakeholders, manage dependencies, and remain accountable for successful execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive major Learning technology initiatives from problem definition through implementation and stabilization.
  • Serve as the Learning Program business owner for learning platforms, SIS, AI solutions, and other academic technology.
  • Translate the Learning Program needs into clear business and system requirements in partnership with Technology.
  • Drive decisions across Education Institute, Technology, Operations, and school‑facing teams.
  • Own implementation plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and readiness for assigned initiatives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the platforms and workflows within the portfolio and be able to speak to both the business need and technical solution.
  • Identify gaps in current systems and workflows, and drive solutions that simplify or improve the way the Learning Program operates.
  • Partner with Technology through design, development, testing, launch, and stabilization.
  • Lead business readiness for major system changes, including process changes, training needs, communications, and implementation planning.
  • Use data and stakeholder feedback to evaluate whether solutions are working and drive improvements after launch.
Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in technology program management, product operations, business systems, implementation, or a related field.
  • Proven experience owning complex technology initiatives from requirements through launch.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to quickly understand platforms, integrations, data flows, and system dependencies.
  • Demonstrated success driving work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
  • Strong ownership, judgment, and follow-through.
  • Experience with education technology or large-scale enterprise systems is a plus.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks
  • Day‑One Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting your first day (SA covers 82% of our core medical plan), plus a free One Medical membership and confidential mental health support via EAP/Talkspace.
  • Financial Security: 403(b) retirement plan with a 3% employer match, up to $2,400/year in employer HSA contributions, employer‑paid life/disability insurance, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility.
  • Time to Recharge: Generous paid time off, paid holidays, and paid parental leave.
  • Perks & Stipends: A $50/month cellphone stipend ($600/year), pre‑tax commuter benefits, backup family care, and performance‑based earning incentives.

This is a hybrid position based in our NYC Financial District office, requiring on‑site work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. This position is not bonus eligible.
