Vitesse Systems is looking for a Program Manager II to join the team in Longmont, Colorado! As Program Manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and uniting a team to innovate and deliver extraordinary antenna solutions, all within the customer’s parameters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct all major program phases – including sales support/proposal development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and strongly advocate for their needs within the organization.
  • Negotiate customer requirements to fit within company capabilities and objectives.
  • Generate and communicate detailed program plans, budgets, timelines, and resources to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Monitor program progress. Fast-track critical path activities to ensure on-time delivery and control cost escalations to ensure profitable execution.
  • Manage scope changes and plan re-baselining.
  • Delegate to ensure full compliance for varying contractual requirements, including purchase orders, statements of work, technical specifications, procurement flow‑downs, quality clauses, and commercial terms & conditions.
  • Clarify and manage ambiguous requirements and communications.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
  • Coordinate solutions to balance customer needs with organizational priorities, resources, and capabilities.
  • Meet objectives through forecasting and communicating requirements based on information available.
  • Actively status all stakeholders on program progress, milestones, budgets, schedules, compliance, and other critical information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree; a Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted by 3 years of commensurate experience in an aerospace engineering and manufacturing environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a role responsible for technical project management and/or subcontract administration; within the aerospace sector highly desired.
  • Experience managing complex and multifaceted projects in either an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with identifying and mitigating technical program risks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an authentic desire to build relationships, share knowledge, and positively impact.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
