Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Program Manager (General & Operations Manager) to provide life-cycle acquisition management support and sustainment of daily program operations for the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

The role requires 10+ years of government-contract experience, engineering degrees, PMP certification, and U.S. citizenship with Secret Clearance. Travel up to 25% is expected, with responsibilities spanning engineering, ESOH, data management, and logistics.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in engineering with 5+ years of project engineering experience.
10+ years of experience in managing a government contract.
PMP certification required.
Must be a U.S. citizen; Secret Clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

Accountable for all aspects of contract execution and day-to-day operations.
Organize, coordinate, and control contractor activities to meet performance, cost, and schedule requirements.
Manage engineering, ESOH, data/records, rapid prototyping, logistics, HVAC/electrical systems, and CRF/related facilities.
Monitor progress and costs; ensure staff are trained and qualified.
Prepare reports and serve as primary POC for government and subcontractors.
Travel up to 25% and complete timesheets per policy.
