Program Manager – Children’s Services Division
Family Services is seeking a Program Manager located in Green Bay, Wisconsin who will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of programming within the Children’s Services Division. This role provides leadership for service delivery, staff supervision, program planning, quality assurance, community collaboration, and reporting. The Program Manager helps ensure services are delivered in alignment with agency policies, procedures, accreditation standards, grant requirements, and Family Services core values.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in human services or related field or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Education: Master's degree in human services or related field.
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years working in a child abuse or neglect prevention home visiting program; 3+ years supervising child abuse or neglect prevention home visiting program.
- Preferred Experience: 3–5+ years working in or with child abuse or neglect home visiting/prevention programming; 3–5+ years supervising the same.
- 1–3 years experience managing multiple funding streams, program development, and writing skills for reports and funding proposals.
- Supervisory and counseling/coaching skills.
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License, reliable personal vehicle for transporting persons served, required insurance, and acceptable driving record.
- Experience with client services embracing family support concepts and demonstrating an accepting, non‑judgmental, and culturally competent attitude.
- Successful experience working with people of all ages, including infants, young children, and their parents.
- Ability to work with a diverse population in culturally competent, non‑judgmental, supportive, and empowering ways.
- Respect for families of diverse socio‑economic status, race, ethnicity, and ability to engage them in dialogue regarding personal issues.
- Ability to work and manage a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of community resources and capacity to maintain strong working relationships with collaborating agencies.
- Knowledge of child abuse and neglect prevention, maternal‑child health, and child development.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Home visiting experience and strong background with 0‑5 population.
- Ability to assume authority constructively and positively in a team‑management context.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas and material in both written and verbal forms.
