Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) seeks a Program Manager I to run strategic operations programs across our food production facilities, coordinating with site teams and analytics to improve safety, quality, labor productivity and cost.

You will build scalable processes, track milestones, and surface risks to managers and program leads, delivering results in a fast-paced environment. 2+ years in PM and a bachelor’s or equivalent experience are preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 2+ years of industry work experience.
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (pivot tables, charts, lookups, data cleansing).

You will help build scalable processes and operating standards, work with analytics teams to maintain dashboards and reporting that track facility performance, and coordinate with site teams and business partners to improve safety, quality, labor productivity and cost. You will prepare program updates and surface risks and recommendations to your manager and program leads.

The ideal candidate is an organized program manager who stays effective in ambiguity, communicates clearly, and brings a bias for action. Experience in manufacturing, food production or multi-site operations is a plus. What matters most is your ability to help manage cross-functional programs, use data to make decisions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

About The Team

Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) is seeking a Program Manager I to support strategic programs for fresh food production. We are a team of program and project managers who drive operational strategy and performance across a growing network of food production facilities, including kitchens and bakehouses. You will work alongside facility leadership, food safety and quality, engineering, category management, store operations, finance and tech teams, as well as third-party vendors, to help improve safety, quality, labor productivity and cost, and to build the capabilities that support network growth.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience


• Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 2+ years of industry work experience


• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a physical store


• Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document


• Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques


• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams


• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
