NYC Parks is seeking a Landscape Architect for the Olmsted Center in Queens. The role involves leading stormwater permitting within the Capital Projects Division and collaborating with design teams across agencies to improve SWPPP applications.
Required credentials include NYS Landscape Architect registration and a master’s degree in landscape architecture, with multiple years of professional experience in the field.

The college or university must be accredited by regional, national, professional, or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U.S. Secretary of Education and by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

In addition to above qualification requirements, to be eligible for placement in Assignment Levels II and III, individuals must have at least one year of experience as a major contributor or a project leader on a complex project requiring additional and specific expertise in the disciplines needed to design or construct the project.
