  • Pay or shift range: $125,000 USD to $150,000 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

About this position: Program Manager Location – Washington, DC

This position is contingent upon award of contract

Wage/Salary Range: $125k - $150k

  • Responsible for the overall management of order(s) and ensuring that the technical/financial solutions and schedules in the specific orders are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Organizes, directs and coordinates the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned order projects.
  • Ensures quality products and services are delivered.
  • Responsible for managing projects with various levels of technical complexity.
  • Trains and directs employee work activities.
  • Signs timecards, prepares performance reviews, handles discipline problems and has input to hiring and firing.
  • Managing clients
    • Building a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives
    • Managing day-to-day client interaction
    • Setting and managing client expectations
    • Communicating effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
    • Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Achieving operational objectives and contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Implementing productivity and quality standards
  • Providing technical direction and guidance to contractor staff to ensure Contract requirements and expectations are clear, success criteria are defined, progress toward results are monitored, and that all activities are performed in compliance with the terms of the Contract
  • Identifying risks and appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Meeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
  • Managing a multi-tiered project and/or multiple projects simultaneously

The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Position may require domestic and international travel a few times per year

Physical Setting: Office

Schedule and Flexibility: 8-5, flexibility upon approval

Other Pertinent Work Details: CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required

Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
