Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies is seeking a Program Manager to lead multiple complex customer programs from order receipt through delivery in our Oregon facility. You will be the primary liaison between customers and internal teams.

You will own schedules, manage risks, coordinate across Engineering, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Shipping, and Installation, and ensure on-time delivery. A 3+ year track record in program or project management and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in a Program Manager/Project Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating projects involving engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and installation.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-directed and able to take ownership of complex assignments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Fulcrum Technologies is a world-class manufacturer of custom machine bases and support structures used in vibration-sensitive semiconductor manufacturing equipment. We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Program Manager to lead multiple complex customer programs from order receipt through final delivery. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and Fulcrum's internal teams, ensuring projects remain on schedule, risks are proactively managed, and customer expectations are consistently met.

The ideal candidate enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, building relationships, and driving projects to successful completion in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
Program & Project Management
  • Lead multiple overlapping customer programs through planning, execution, delivery, and project closeout.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, milestones, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Manage project scope, requirements, timelines, and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate action items and ensure accountability across functional teams.
  • Drive projects to successful completion while balancing schedule, quality, and customer requirements.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer programs.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
  • Provide regular updates regarding project status, milestones, deliverables, risks, and recovery plans.
  • Manage customer communications throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and facilitate timely resolution.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate project execution across Engineering, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Shipping, and Installation teams.
  • Ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal project execution.
  • Facilitate effective communication between departments to keep projects moving forward.
  • Monitor deliverables from internal stakeholders and ensure commitments are met.
  • Help remove barriers that impact project success.
Schedule, Risk & Escalation Management
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks, constraints, and issues.
  • Develop mitigation and recovery plans when projects encounter challenges.
  • Drive issue resolution to protect customer commitments and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate risks and recovery strategies to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure priorities remain aligned with company objectives and customer expectations.
  • Own and track all customer and internal project deliverables.
  • Maintain project schedules, requirements documentation, and action-item logs.
  • Document project decisions, changes, commitments, and open issues.
  • Ensure project records remain accurate, organized, and current.
  • Support post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project execution, communication, scheduling, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support implementation of best practices for program management and project tracking.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and project visibility.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Program Manager, Project Manager, or similar project leadership role.
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating projects involving engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and installation activities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-directed and capable of taking ownership of complex assignments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to hold multiple stakeholders accountable for project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge of Fulcrum's products and manufacturing processes.
Technical & Software Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using project scheduling, project management, and task-tracking software.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing drawings, specifications, and requirements documentation.
  • Experience creating and maintaining project schedules and status reports.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing, industrial equipment, semiconductor, automation, or engineered-to-order product experience.
  • Experience managing customer-facing programs in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning processes.
  • PMP, PgMP, or comparable project management certification.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Professional office environment with regular interaction on the manufacturing floor.
  • Frequent collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Leadership teams.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring management of multiple priorities and customer commitments.
  • Occasional travel to customer locations, vendor sites, or installation locations may be required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when entering production areas.
